I had the opportunity and good fortune of photographing a portrait session for the Vaughan family this past summer. Oh how just looking at these images makes me dream about the warm sun and restless summer nights. We ventured to York, Maine, while the weather was sunny and ocean tide was in. This is a fun and genuinely caring bunch, and they are busy busy bees with all the sports and programs the two youngsters are in. So glad they committed the time to have a session with me.  Mellisa and James happened to be celebrating another wedding anniversary at this time as well, which made the session all the more memorable.  All right, I’ve chatted enough, please continue to scroll and enjoy the beautiful images of this fun family.

Love is real.  For any doubters out there, you can spend a mere few moments with James and Mellisa and begin to believe.  You can see it in the way that they look at each other, in the way that they hug their children…
