Invested a little time for bird watching this weekend.  Really wanted to get the money shot on the male cardinal that was hanging around all weekend.  This is the best I could capture.  Also got a shot of Mrs. Cardinal as well, along with a few other species, as well as some furry creatures and a moth.  Funny thing is…the morning of departure from New York, I gazed out into the backyard, sipping my coffee, enjoying the early morning when I noticed that damn cardinal was lounging around the bird feeder.  “My God!  Where is my camera?”  Packed away.  Right.  That cardinal hung out for a good five minutes before he flew off into the morning haze.  Nonetheless, it is such a relaxing experience to observe the wild, I highly suggest it to anyone.
