When I asked Stephanie and Nick where they’d like their engagement session to take place, they mentioned downtown Portsmouth, NH.  Curious enough, I asked why.  Through a couple of different conversations, it was quite apparent that Portsmouth is a city in which they frequent and holds a lot of joyful memories.  It reminded me of my own engagement shoot in Dover, NH.  It was where my husband and I met, and was our preliminary stomping grounds.  Something about these Strafford County towns that just brings out the love and happiness in couples like us.

And what great sports they were, as we made a few loops around town!  We discovered a few secluded spots, and we hit up the main arteries of downtown, where we were in fact photobombed by a bride, as WELL as a BRIDE TO BE!  We even managed to capture a few silhouettes against the spring New England sunset.  Hope you enjoy these featured images as much as I do!
