Generations, what a fascinating study.   It is remarkable to witness individuals of separate generations, all living and breathing in the same moment of time.  These survivors are bonded by the experience of social and cultural influences, yet each are unique to the influences of their era.  Each hold different memories, but share the same morals and emotions of humanity all the same.  As we spend our time on this earth, we should look up to our elders, past or present, learn from their tales and skills and guide our future with our findings.  We should be patient with our youth.  Their paths are not yet lengthened by years of wisdom and lessons.  Above all, we are always learning, and we are sharing these moments.

A client approached me with the request to document four generations of her own family.  I was inspired and delighted to be a part of this process.  My assignment was to not only capture four generations of this family, but four women.  As a female, as a daughter and as a mother, I was able to relate with the value behind this project.  I am honored and thrilled to have been able to assist.  I do hope my client has walked away not only proud of my work, but proud of such an inspiring idea and the motivation to execute it.
