beach excursion: swett family 2012
Outdoor portrait session with the Swetts.
We scavenged for crabs, sand dollars, starfish, any species we could find that happened to reside on the shores of New Castle Commons, NH. We climbed rocks and dipped our toes into the great Atlantic. The smell of salt and suntan lotion send me back to my days as a child…as a family, enjoying the summer season.
I absolutely love sessions with kids. Yes, it is the greatest challenge nabbing that dynamite head shot with youngsters {I am not denying that} but I find myself enjoying these sessions as it is such a blast spending time with children. What a great time to capture a child’s personality, the dynamics of a beautiful family.
The boat you see in the background below was idle during the course of our session. At one point The Lil Guy pointed to the boat and explained there was an octopus by the boat. There was a large round booey harnessed to the boat, and it appeared to him as a sea creature.
The moment prior to the photo below was so special and unique.
The Lil Guy plops himself into my lap and gestures for me to take a picture of his parents.
So I did.
☼ Had a wonderful session on a beautiful day ☼
