I believe the best photography experience begins with clear communication. Here you’ll find answers to common questions, so you can feel confident every step of the way.
My approach is to provide a laid back and fun experience with your session or event, resulting in professional quality images that are true-to-life color with an occasional grainy or black-and-white aesthetic, and usually on the warmer side. Photos produced are a blend of prompted poses and candid moments, with some details or scenic backdrop photos sprinkled in.
Photo assignments are on-location (I said goodbye to my studio space during the COVID years, sadly), and while I rely heavily on natural light, I use speedlight flash when necessary or the project calls for it.
While I’ve been photographing the majority of my life, I turned it into a profession in 2012.
I am located in Sanford, Maine and cover most of New England. Travel fees may apply outside an hour from Sanford. While I typically do not travel beyond Northern New England, I am willing for the right fit and timing (passport is ready too).
I am a sole proprietor but have a network of photographers and vendors that I work closely with.
100% yes I carry general liability insurance and can produce a certificate of insurance upon request.
I also have equipment insurance and have backup lenses, bodies, flashes, etc. as an added measure for peace of mind.
Weddings begin at $3,000 with clients typically spending between $4,000-$6,000.
Elopements begin at $1,500.

Portrait sessions begin at $600.
Occasionally I offer seasonal mini sessions in the $250 range, please follow along on my socials for those!
Wedding images are delivered within 6-8 weeks from your event, based on peak season (Jun-Oct).
Portrait sessions are typically delivered within 2 weeks from your session.
Custom product purchases like albums and prints can take up to a few weeks and varies but will be communicated with you during the process.

Absolutely. Most of my clients tell me this before their session! I’ll gently guide you into natural poses while also leaving space for genuine interactions to unfold. I got you.
A signed photography agreement and non-refundable deposit secure your session or wedding date. Once those are received, your date is officially reserved.
For weddings, I recommend booking 9–18 months in advance. Family sessions are typically booked 1–3 months ahead, though last-minute openings occasionally become available. Contact Autumn now.
