The weekend is upon us!  And it’s a busy one…

This is a self portrait I took on timer with my Canon SD6OO.  This photo was taken on a beach in Alaska.  I love the twisted roots and the ocean behind me.  This photo was shot while visiting my sister, again, in ’08.  This particular trail must be followed according to the tide.  If you’re imprudent, you could be stuck out in the wilderness for a while, as the tide comes in and floods the trail.  We didn’t have the opportunity to venture that far, as the September rain had washed out the bridge to cross.  The furthest we reached was this beach.

Photo was propped up on the root on a 10 second timer.  Only digital editing done on this photo was changing it to black and white.
