I thought I’d share another photo from the gravel pit I grew up in…this photo is one of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken.  This was taken during the aftermath of the ice storm of 2008.  Everything was coated with ice.  Though it was a devastating disaster, there was a sense of beauty in its destruction.  The sun glistened on the coated branches, and those branches were all bent down from the weight of the ice.  Amazing.  As I said, this is–by far–one of my favorite photos ever taken.  Canon SD6OO, NO POST-PRODUCTION.
