Third of the way through my blog challenge!  It’s been fun scavenging through old photos and recalling old memories attached to them.  *Sigh*  Life’s been good to me so far, as the Eagles would put it.  I didn’t think I had traveled around all that much, but realistically I have.  Alaska, Costa Rica, Canada, my own back yard…

So today I am posting about a fun picture of a young lady swigging off a beverage in the hot sun.  The title states ‘hydration’, but there miiight be something else in there…hey, come on!  I’m at the beach with my girlfriends, life’s been good to me so far, okay??  I may have taken the beach for granted when I was little, but never a moment as an adult.  I am so fortunate to have lived near the ocean my entire life.  It is my getaway.  It is my sanctity.  My home.  A walk on the beach is my therapy session.

This photo was taken by my Canon SD6OO in ’08 on Pemaquid Beach {downeast maine}.  I love the harsh shadows casting on the individual, and the angle of the photo.  And who doesn’t love a good snapshot of the direct sun?  My camera really has been through the ringer…I’ve taken it to sandy beaches, frigid mountain tops and on drunken bar adventures.  What a great camera.
