Lebanon, Maine | Rustic Backyard Wedding

A quaint and quiet wedding ceremony occurred this past September, on the steps of the old Academy in Lebanon, Maine.  Sean stayed true to his heritage and wore a traditional Irish wedding suit.  Leanna did not disappoint with the blending of vintage and school themed flare to this relaxed wedding.  The reception that followed was held in their very own backyard, which was adorned with rustic decor, and a gorgeous homemade banquet table – handcrafted by the very talented groom himself.  And the best part?  A traditional barbecue with all the fixins.  Hallelujah, there is nothing better in this world than good food and being surrounded by familiar laughs.

I love the intimacy of small scale wedding celebration…there’s no rush.. less pressure on fitting it all in, no blur of a receiving line.  There’s just a small batch of your closest loves, all lovin’ up on you!  Lots of whiskey, plaid, academic influences, accompanied with a beautiful display of rustic flare.  Hope you enjoy the highlights, and be sure to show some love for the gorgeous couple at the bottom.
